Fire Skulls are found in many places, but mainly in cave areas. You will encounter them as you work your way through higher level monster caves, such as the more interior caves of Hurnscald. They are hard to kill for the newer player, as they seem to be able to dodge most arrows and strikes. Still, when they are slain, they give a good deal of experience points. In the Graveyard they are a common monster, and can sneak up and take you by surprise while you are busy dealing with other monsters.
One cheeky habit the Fire Skull has is that it will pick up any loot left over from the other monsters that you have been killing.
