Item Creation System

An Item Creation System allows players to make their own weapons and armor, as well as improve them. There are 8 craft skills.

* Metalworking - Make things from metal
* Woodworking - Make things from wood
* Jeweler - Make accessories and other items with gold/gems
* Alchemist - Make items that have spell charges
* Cook - Make items with recovery or enhancing effects
* Tailor - Make cloth weapons, armor, and accessories from animal parts
* Artisan - Make aesthetic items like nice clothing, or ornaments.
* Synthesis - Upgrading weapons and armor with magical effects

These skills allow players to make new items by combining ingredients with the help of special items called interactive Objects (see ObjectUsage for all groups, and EquipmentSystem for synthesis). As players make new items, their crafting skill improves, and they are able to make more complex, higher level items.

Major item categories

To understand item creation, you need to first understand the types of items that exist in TMW.

- Generic Items - These are materials or things useless alone. Key items also fit
     in this group. (GenericItems)
- Useful Items - Potions, Bombs, etc. They are used once and go away. (UsefulItemList)
- Interactive Objects - These are used by the player for various things. A nubmer
of them exist to help with crafting, such as the oven for cooking. (ObjectUsage)
- Equipment - These items can be equipped by the player, and provide special
bonuses as long as they are worn and certain requirements are met. (EquipmentSystem)

Item creation isn't limited to just making items, however. Players can personalize certain items, such as:

- Blank Book - Players can write in the book for personal use, or create stories
and memoirs which can be copied and sold to other players (only the original can
   be copied of course).
- Blank Photograph - Holds a screenshot from the game.
