I am mainly a C programmer and I am working on an old Linux platform. I enjoy contributing to 2D free software games, going from one project to another depending on my mood.
I heavily contributed to Battle for Wesnoth, till the first stable release (1.0) got out. I then worked on Freeciv. Nowadays, I am helping with the programming of the Mana World own server. On the serious side, I am also one of the authors of a Boost library. My name can be found in the changelogs of several other projects, GCC for example.
In the real life, I am finishing a PhD thesis on formal certification of numerical applications. The Gappa tool resulted from this work; it was essential in designing the CRlibm project. More details on myself can be found on my homepage. You can contact me at guillaume.melquiond@gmail.com if you ever need to.
