Information

Summary

  • We first, assigned some tasks:
    • Modanung will complete the concept art of the center and suburbs of Tulimshar (green and blue zones in the map below), he will occasionally work on completing his tree and the herbivore creature, he will probably work on monsters suitable for the woodland tileset
    • Mkael will work on concept art of nomad land (red zone in the map below) and royal tombs. It is asked an aerial view of both maps and some concept art of the details, especially regarding tombs architecture.
    • Pajarico will concentrate on completing the palace concept art and northern part of the town (light blue zone in the map below), and will start thinking about the fire palace. Those one are the biggest buildings in the area so it would be nice to start thinking about the inside as well.
    • Crush will continue to work on the woodland tileset
    • neko-mon will work on a mushroom shaped monster for the woodland tileset
    • Golgo will continue working on creating the new tiles for Tulimshar
    • irukard will complete the nomad tileset (the most important thing it misses is still a nice representation of a nomad tent that follows Mkael's concept)
    • Rotonen will be again the head of story development and will probably start thinking about the background of woodland tileset.
  • Still no news about the playerset until the release of Wesnoth 1.0, so kinetic is unemployed at the moment. (I suggest that you start working on the equipments you actually can wear in game: cotton shirt, leather shirt, hats and so on...using the current frames as you did for the leather shirt; it could be nice if you could also create icons for the inventory that better suits your style)
  • We agreed on some basic guidelines for tiles development, I'll update them as soon as I complete this one, so every tile artist please check it out and give your contribution.
