Mechanics and Layering

There are 5 head frames: North, South, East, West, and Death.

Playerset sprites are divided into these layers: [*]

Hands can not be drawn in front of the head with this method
  • Eyes
  • Head
  • Upper Body (torso and arms)
  • Lower Body (underwear and legs)

Mirroring is used.

An XML Flip-H and Flip-V tag could eliminate the need to make mirrored frames, thereby reducing sheet size.
No such ability is implemented as of 2010-038.

Known Flaws

The playerset is not at a 45 degree angle.
