I have observed economy problems in TMW so i have designed the MWEBP (Mana World Economy Boost plan)


Money sinks and taxation

1.Tax


1.1 voluntary tax

This is the service tax , it would provide basic social services such as:

Health system (npc that cure you wounds free of charge)

Public transport system (npc that warp you from desert to snow or from woodland to desert instantly , free of charge)

And Other things to be added later

The voluntary tax would be 1.75% of your total amount of money at the moment that you will pay each week , one week of payment allows two weeks of social service , players dont pay by default , when they want to pay they just talk to the NPC , and talk back to stop paying , you have to wait , at least one month after deciding to pay , to stop paying.Players which dont pay , wouldn't be allowed to do certain things , and players who payed would have tiny privileges , such as wearing the tax payer hat , newbies would pay a reduced fee of just 0.5% of their money.


1.2 Gambling tax

25% of all winnings , compulsory

1.3 Bank taxes

5.5% of money in bank account , every time you want to take money out, 0.5% of your money , every time you put money inside. Also , as compensation , people would have a 3.25% interest payed every month they manage to keep their money inside the bank untouched. This would promote business and impatient people would pay other players for their banking services. But a 11% tax if you don't take your money out in 9 months time.

1.4 trading tax

50% tax of transition money if the other player doesn't give you an item in return which would prevent partially , people concealing money in other accounts.

1% tax for the rest of trading , this tax would be reduced to 0.14% for people that donated money to charity NPC once in a while. ( such as newbie protection charities)

Monsters SHOULD NOT give money

every person which trades with a newbie will receive a 0.25% of their money as price

every person which remains without killing monsters in one year , will recieve 25% of his money as price!!
