Garret travels the world with his caravan, which consists of himself, his bodyguard Tyrone Hiro, his covered wagon loaded with wares, and his trusty horse Sandhoof. He makes frequent stops around inhabited areas, and trades in just about anything. He usually has some wondrous item from the far reaches of the world, so people are always delighted to see his caravan, called "Sunlight", approaching. The caravan is called "Sunlight" because it usually arrives at the crack of dawn and leaves by sunset, laden with more wares to sell elsewhere.
He trades mostly in clothing, apparell and trade-wares like silk, cloth and spices, but he sometimes carries the odd weapon or seven. His prices range from dirt-cheap to ridiculously high, wholly depending on how hard (and sometimes how dangerous) it was for him to obtain the ware in question. He usually accepts requests and ideas about what to purchase from some faraway land, if he's headed there anyway. Though this costs a tiny bit more, it's usually worth it for someone unwilling - or unable - to travel to faraway lands for an item.
He likes to collect souvenirs and little trinkets to remind him of all the places he's been. He passionately guards his collection (not that anyone would want to steal it, but still...), and loves to receive some unique piece of ju-- err, exotic collectible. He might even reward the person nicely, with something exotic from his wagon...
