Area: Nestled in the valleys between a series of hills stands the temple of darkness, a labyrinthene construction of dimly-lit hallways populated by the ever-silent, though helpful, spirits of darkness.  The mysteries contained within these halls are unimaginable, as one never knows what the darkness may hold.  At the center of the twisting maze is the inner chamber, a room the appearance of which is completely unknown; all but a small platform is shrouded in an utter darkness that no light can breach.    It is here that adventurers brave enough to forgo the light may learn of the secrets kept by Tenebrae, the dark elemental.

Tenebrae: None have ever seen Tenebrae's form, not even it's sage, for it never leaves it's sacred chamber of absolute darkness. One must simply speak out into the darkness and listen for the echoing of cryptic whispers that come in response. It embodies the darkness of mystery, of whispered secrets, of the void between worlds and the blackness beyond the dreams of mortals.

As an element: Darkness is the keeper of secrets; not evil, but the unknown within it terrifies many. The mages of darkness play upon this fear in combat, but focus on employing the secrets of the darkness to produce unusual, but highly useful, effects. They tend to be contemplative, quiet, and aloof.
