General

The Graveyard is a large place located to the South West of Hurnscald. It's full of aggressive monsters and one of the best areas for players to level up.

In the Graveyard (map 027-1), you will find both the Caretaker's Hut, and the Crypt. You will find the Caretaker's Hut on the right hand side as you enter, and the Crypt to the West. If you are a low-level player, you will not make it to the Crypt, as there are many high-level monsters there.

How to get there

There are three ways to get to the Graveyard from Hurnscald.

• If you have visited Styx the Traveler already, the simplest way is the talk to Dyrin The Traveller. It costs 2000 GP but they will teleport you directly to the Graveyard.

• A less time consuming way is to make the Orange Hitchhiker's Towel and use it to teleport directly to the Graveyard. Remember that towels need a recharge time of 20 minutes, and can eventually lose their colour.

• If you want to go by foot from Hurnscald South entrance, you can use the portals. Here is how:
  • Open your SOC (social box), and then select NAV (navigation).
  • Starting at Hurnscald Soul Menhir, follow these directions:

1. Go to Hurnscald South Exit [49 55]
2. Head to Woodland [79 102]
3. then to Woodland [20 54]
4. Woodland [56 105]
5. Woodland Swamp [20 53]
6. Swamp [19 66]
7. and finally, Graveyard [63 16]

History

It is still a mystery of how undead came into existence. One thing we do have though is a list of mysterious gravestones with names engraved on them. For more information, look at the Gravestones page.

Monsters

There are various monsters in the Graveyard.

• Vampire Bats Scattered throughout the Graveyard.
• Grass Snakes Commonly found near Caretaker's home. There are only two of them.
• Lady Skeletons Commonly found and have good spawn rate.
• Skeletons Commonly found and have good spawn rate.
• Spectres Mostly found outside the Graveyard near Caretaker's home. Can be found sometimes inside too.
• Wisps Mostly found outside the Graveyard near Caretaker's home. Can be found sometimes inside too.
• Poltergeists Mostly found outside the Graveyard near Caretaker's home. Can be found sometimes inside too.
• Zombies Found in the Graveyard centre.
• Fallen Mostly found around and inside the Crypt, to the West of the Graveyard.

Map

The map of the Graveyard is useful for new players. The number of skeletons and lady skeletons given in map are approximate, and don't include other monsters. You can see on the map, down on the bottom right, is the Caretaker's Hut. In here, you will find Joan, and her caring husband, the Caretaker. On the bottom left of the map, you will see the Crypt. This is a high-level part of the game, so feel free to have a look around there if you can.
