Skeletons are quite fast on their bony feet...probably due to aerodynamics and the lightweight framework. They have a strong hit, and are a great levelling monster for medium and high-level players.
Location
Skeletons are found in the Graveyard, as well as a few other areas. They are in the Snake Caves, on the way to Pachua also, so be careful.
