George is located in the Tulimshar desert, near the south entry of the Snake Pit. Have a glance at his shop before entering the Snake Pit: his weapons and health items can't be useless for an adventurer.

Tip: Buying arrows
If you're an archer, this is probably your choice spot for buying arrows, unless you use iron arrows or something else. That's because George sells them for 1 GP each, the cheapest rate in the game. If you're not on the continent, it will cost you 500 GP to get there. However, if you're on other continent and you want to return after getting arrows, you can save even more money: just make sure you've touched the Soul Menhir on the continent you start from. To get back there, instead of paying another transportation fee, you can just get yourself killed. This is basically a free ride since there is currently no penalty for death beyond potential inconvenience. In this case, death is quite useful. Just make sure you don't get killed before you buy your arrows.
