:Hm. Now when only the core devs is (should be) mentioned, perhaps this is more appropriate:
Name !! IRC nick !! Forum nick !! Occupation !! Location
Bjørn Lindeijer || b_lindeijer || Bjørn || Lead programmer || The Netherlands
:I also removed the location from the contributors page, since it’s not really relevant in my humble opinion (further, many had no location given, it would be a heck to keep those locations given up-to-date, and why we even should keep track of many former contributors’ locations...). ✎ Kess☽ 02:28, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Split between contributors and active developers
I like to see 2 wikiarticles, one with all the active developers and one with the contributors. In the list with active developers, all developers with git access, and/or have an (active) important role with the project. All the other people (retired, contributed only 1 thing etc) on the list with the contributors. EJ 13:43, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
: I like this idea very much! Perhaps then the current Developers page is for the “VIPs” and Contributors for the rest? In a similar vein the in-game help (F1) needs to be updated, and then there is all those AUTHORS files in the source... ✎ Kess☽ 14:10, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
:: I’ve just made this split. So, please consider fixing the css as mentioned in the section above. Also, the non-core developers need to be removed from this article, I’m not up to that task. ✎ Kess☽ 02:08, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Sortable tables

Well, since the MediaWiki software has been upgraded, sortable tables work out-of-the-box. I propose that the CSS be updated with .odd and .even class formats similar to Template:Dev1 and Template:Dev2, rendering the two templates obsolete (at least in their current format). With this wiki editors doesn’t have to change every row of dev1 and dev2 any longer.

I also removed the location from the contributors page, since it’s not really relevant in my humble opinion (further, many had no location given, it would be a heck to keep those locations given up-to-date, and why we even should keep track of many former contributors’ locations...). ✎ Kess☽ 02:28, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

I like this idea very much! Perhaps then the current Developers page is for the “VIPs” and Contributors for the rest? In a similar vein the in-game help (F1) needs to be updated, and then there is all those AUTHORS files in the source... ✎ Kess☽ 14:10, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
I’ve just made this split. So, please consider fixing the css as mentioned in the section above. Also, the non-core developers need to be removed from this article, I’m not up to that task. ✎ Kess☽ 02:08, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
