Template:Status outdated This is the map naming sheme which is supposed to be used on the new server.
General
Map names should only consist of the lowercase letters a-z, the digits 0-9, dashes '-' and underscores '_' to ensure compatibility with all common file systems.
Outdoor maps
continent-coordinates[_point of interest].tmx
Every continent should be divided into a grid whichs horizontal coordinates are labeled with letters and vertical coordinates labeled with numbers. Each map name should start with the continent followed by a dash followed by the continent-specific map coordinates. When the map has a noteworth point of interest this may be appended after the coordinates preceeded by an underscore.
Examples:
argaes-c7.tmx tonori-e5.tmx tonori-e4_tulimshar.tmx
Indoor maps
[continent-]location[-sublocation].tmx
Indoor maps should start with the name of the continent (when appropriate) followed by a dash followed by the name of the location. When the location consists of multiple maps it should be followed by a dash followed by the sublocation. The naming scheme for the sublocations should be chosen separately for each location. When it is not clear in which continent the location is located (like locations that are a connection between continents or "virtual" locations like the afterlife) the continent can be omitted.
Examples:
gispaa-fireshrine.tmx gasaron-wizardtower-3rdfloor.tmx tonori-tulimshar-indoor.tmx oceanliner-upperdeck.tmx
