The Lost Hitchhiker

This is an annual quest, open from the 21st of May to the 25th of May, in honor of Douglas Adams. However, you can make gem powders and dye your towel anytime.

The Hitchhiker's Towel

What To Do:

1. Head southwest from Tulimshar's main entrance to the beach. You will find the stranger at the top of the cliff on the total west of the map.
2. Give him what he asks for, which are 5 Iron Ingots and 21 Pink Antennae. You will need to answer a bunch of questions, not written here to leave you the surprise, about The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
3. When he asks what item is the most important one for a hitchhiker, answer Towel.
4. You then win a Hitchhiker's Towel but unfortunatly it doesn't do anything yet.

Hint:

• Iron Ingots can be made in Tulimshar.

Pink Antennae are dropped by:

• Pinkies (8%)

Rewards:

• 20,000 EXP
• 1 Hitchhiker's Towel

The Gem Powders

What To Do:

1. Go north of Hurnscald, into the Mining Camp, at the top floor. Talk to Malek about gem powders.
2. Bring him 1 gem of your choice. You get at least 7 Powders from each gem, you can get up to 13 per gem.

Dying the Towel

What To Do:

1. Go back to see the Stranger.
2. Give him Gem Powders and 1 Bottle of Water. The amount of powders depends on the color of the dye you want to apply on an undyed towel you have.
3. To receive your dyed towel but not a dye. You can now use your towel as much as you want, until it undyes itself. There is 1 chance out of 15 that it occurs.

Here is a list of dyed towels that can be yet made in game:

• White Hitchhiker's Towel: Warp: Nivalis (020-1 66,91)
• Red Hitchhiker's Towel: Warp: Hurnscald (009-1 51,40)
• Yellow Hitchhiker's Towel: Warp: Tulimshar (003-1 40,71)
• Orange Hitchhiker's Towel: Warp: Graveyard (027-1 70,100)
• Pink Hitchhiker's Towel: Warp: Terranite Cave (012-3 448,66)

Rewards & Costs:

You need at least 1 Hitchhiker's Towel (undyed) and 1 Bottle of Water to dye them.

• 1 White Hitchhiker's Towel = 2 Diamond Powders
• 1 Red Hitchhiker's Towel = 2 Ruby Powders
• 1 Yellow Hitchhiker's Towel = 2 Topaz Powders
• 1 Orange Hitchhiker's Towel = 1 Ruby Powder + 1 Topaz Powder
• 1 Pink Hitchhiker's Towel = 1 Ruby Powder + 1 Diamond Powder
