What To Do:

1. Talk To The Inspector
Position: Hurnscald, southeast of menhir.
Agree to help solve robberies.

2. Talk To The Old Woman (*)
Position: Hurnscald, go west and over in the grassy area.
Ask about robberies. She will tell you that she saw something, but would tell only the Inspector himself.

3. Talk To The Inspector (*)
Position: Hurnscald, southeast of menhir.
He will tell you that he doesn't believe her eyesight.

4. Talk To The Old Woman WITH Dyed Clothes
Position: Hurnscald, go west and over in the grassy area.
Dye some torso-worn and legs-worn clothes Dark Blue. Put them on and then talk to the old woman. Keep the clothes after that. (HINT: Even if you use silk robe to dye for the top, you will must STILL wear dark blue leg clothing as well)

5. Talk To The Inspector
Position: Hurnscald, southeast of menhir.
He will tell you to talk to the Troupe Leader.

6. Talk To The Troupe Leader
Position: Tulimshar, inside of the Inn.
Talk to her, she will tell you that a mask was stolen in Hurnscald. Ask if she has any idea who it might have been. She will tell you that a old man hung out near the theater after the show.

7. Talk To The Inspector
Position: Hurnscald, southeast of menhir.
He will ask if you can interrogate the old man for him.

8. Talk To The Old Man
Position: Hurnscald, head east towards the blacksmith's shop and look down in the trees.
Ask him about hanging around near the theater after the show. Hi will tell you that he was an actor when he was younger, but he wasn't there that night.

9. Talk To The Inspector (*)
Position: Hurnscald, southeast of menhir.
He will ask you to verify his alibi with his wife (The Old Woman).

10. Talk To The Old Woman
Position: Hurnscald, go west and over in the grassy area.
She will confirm that.

11. Talk To The Inspector
Position: Hurnscald, southeast of menhir.
He will tell you that he doesn't know where to look, and ask you to talk to everybody again.

12. Talk To The Old Woman
Position: Hurnscald, go west and over in the grassy area.
Talk with her in dyed clothes. She will remember that she saw someone take a large satchel and head north.

13. Talk To The Miner
Position: North of Hurnscald, mining camp, top level.
He will confirm that he heard the commotion and somebody went down to the basement, but nobody was there.

14. Search The Bookcase
Position: North of Hurnscald, mining camp, basement, north west corner (needs to be step on).
You will find an upside down book, hollowed out with a mask and a note which you can't read.

15. Talk To The Inspector
Position: Hurnscald, southeast of menhir.
He will take care of that note and send you to the troupe leader again.

16. Talk To The Troupe Leader
Position: Tulimshar, inside of the Inn.
She will thank you for a good job, and let you keep the mask.
Reward: 1,500 EXP, Noh Mask.

17. Talk To The Inspector
Position: Hurnscald, southeast of menhir.
He will tell you that they found all of the stolen items in the mining camp.
Reward: 2,500 EXP

Hints:

• The inspector is in the building directly south of the Soul Menhir in Hurnscald.
• Mauve Plants and Cobalt Plants can be found in the North Woodlands.
• Pearls are dropped by Sea Slimes west of Tulimshar and north of Hurnscald.
• All steps with a (*) are optional and can be skipped.
