Because TMW is smaller and more personal than many other MMORPGs, the structure of the economy is slightly different. For one thing, player-to-player trading is more difficult. Also, it is less effective to "buy" prestige through rare items.
That being said, there are a number of valuable items traded among players:
- Equipment
- Herbs
- Magic ingredients
- Equipment ingredients - snake skin, cloth, dye, white fur
There are also a few items that NPC shops will buy at a high price:
- Bat wing - 100gp
- Bat teeth - 150gp
- Root - 200gp
- Cloth - (?)gp
- Dagger - 500gp
Killing bats is an easy way to make money, as they drop wings (30%), teeth (20%), and daggers (0.7%). They also drop slime (8%) and bug legs (4%), both of which are magic supplies. Combined with the relative ease of killing them, bats are the perfect way for newbies to make money.
