How to get your content in to the game

I've put this section together from trying to get my own stuff in to the game in the absence of an official guideline, and run the draft past Platyna. Would be better to have an official guideline replace it.

Quest making/scripting

For a while now I have been thinking of writing a basic draft of something that later could be turned into a howto/guideline/standard on how to write scripts. But as I have never decided on the approach I have never started on it.

Perhaps guides on general scripting (one for eAthena and tmwserv each) with more explicit howto sections, for instance how to use bit masks and other more advanced programming techniques we lowly laypersons does not know about, but will encounter or use when scripting. I think a set of general and clear guidelines on formatting would be good as well, especially when it comes to dialogue. ✎ Kess☽ 14:05, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Update on the guidelines for getting involved

As the guidelines are a little outdated here, I have posted a link to a newer article for you to look at.
